Marta Blaze: STOTT™ trained Certified Pilates Instructor - 7 month comprehensive course, including anatomy and injuries and special populations.
I did a Franklin Covey course about 8 years ago, during which you are meant to write what your passions are. At the time I was a Biz Dev Mgr for a dotcom but my passion was definitely in the health industry. I knew I wanted to transform people's lives, but I didn't want to work with people who were sick. My posture was far from great, so at the urging of a friend I took my first Pilates Class 2 months later, and by the end of that year I was fully certified.
I worked at Stott Pilates and from my home studio for the next year. At that point I gave birth to Maya Papaya. I took the leap and left Stott to start my own full time studio. I've loved every minute of it ever since!
I provide Beginner to Advanced (and something we like to call demon Pilates) Pilates Programs on Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, as well as stability ball, fitness circle, weighted balls, medicine balls, weights, Thera Bands and foam rollers.
I also provide Pilates exercises that address a broad range of physical challenges.
I am able to customize a client’s workout to address particular weaknesses, conditions, postural problems or injuries (shoulder problems, neck and shoulder tension, hip, knee and ankle issues, back care, fibromyalgia, arthritis, pre natal and post natal.)
I love what I do, I love that I am able to help people feel better, be stronger, and feel like they are getting so much more than just a workout. I feel blessed to be where I am; loving life and having a blast!
Erin D:
Erin follows a deep belief that fitness and healthy nutrition are two of the most important attributes to a happy and fulfilling lifestyle. This philosophy has aided Erin in achieving many certifications in Fitness Instruction, and also pushed her to become a certified Reflexologist.
Erin currently teaches Zumba, Socacize, Interval Training Classes and Mini Bootcamps. Erin believes strongly that we are all on individual paths to a greater self and incorporates this belief in her instruction during her classes. All participants are encouraged to challenge themselves, but also work within their own comfort level. Take part in one of her classes, and you will instantly feel the energy you need to take charge of your own “healthy self,” and get moving.
Marie Bouvet: Stott Trained Pilates Instructor
I have always been active. I love rock climbing, skiing, hiking and to keep me doing these sports I started doing Pilates with Marta about 6 years ago. I have been a professional Chef for the last 10 years, primarily at L'Auberge de Paumier.
Last fall I decided to challenge myself. "Who risks nothing in life, gains nothing". The challenge has been very rewarding. I found the self discipline and the creativity that I love in cooking, plus a less stressful and fun environment. I love it too because you can see concrete physical results with clients that I work with which is very rewarding.
Hope you join me in the pursuit of better physical health and a better way to connect your mind and core, in order to enjoy and accomplish more in life.
